Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring, Summer
Description:
The Central College Granada semester/year program is a Spanish immersion program with the goal of developing students' Spanish language and cross-cultural skill, as well as providing them the opportunity to take courses in the liberal arts. The program was established in 1968. Classes are held at the University of Granada's Center for Modern Languages, a modern facility with language laboratories, a library, video rooms, lounges, study areas, and a cafe. The center is housed in the restored Palacio de Santa Cruz in the heart of the old city of Granada. Our on-site director has her office in the same building. While studying, students may receive credit for social service internships. Intensive orientation and language classes help students adapt to their new host culture and prepare for the coursework at the University of Granada.
