Description: The Academia Dell'arte offers programs for University undergraduate students and post-graduates in the performing arts. With its exclusive focus on theater, music and dance the Accademia provides a study abroad opportunity in Tuscany with outstanding artists and professionals from Europe and the United States. The ADA's undergraduate semester broad program begins in January and offers a full range of classes and performance opportunities in music, theater and dance, as well as intensive Italian language studies.

Highlights: The program is located in the beautiful Villa Godiola on the outskirts of of Arezzo, one of the most beautiful mid-sized cities in Tuscany, with easy access to Rome, Florence, Siena and Perugia and includes resident housing and dining facilities. The Academia Dell'Arte makes every effort to ensure that every student has performance opportunities while enrolled in its various programs along with the possibility of working closely with professionals in the various fields of performance. In the undergraduate performance program students will have the opportunity to work with European artists and teachers and in many cases perform side-by-side.

Accademia Dell'Arte's Mission Statement: The Accademia dell'Arte is an exciting study abroad program that has quickly gained a notable reputation from both our participants and collaborators in the world of performing arts. As a program that is virtually unique in Europe, we are dedicated to providing an extraordinary experience for students currently studying and training in Theatre, Music (vocal and instrumental), and Italian language who wish to extend their horizons with an intensive period of training, studying and performing in Italy. In Summer and a "J-mester" we add the options of studying Scenic Arts, Film Production, and Dance.
