In the land of the rising sun, business dominates the horizon and continues to illuminate global economics, business, and marketing. This timely program delves into the marketing of goods and services both intra-nationally and across borders. Topics to be covered include international market-entry strategies and the general foundation of international strategy. Students will undertake an intensive examination of these topics in the context of Japanese and Asian business. Dynamic classroom lectures will be enhanced by guest lecturers skilled in particular aspects of international business and marketing. Based at Nihon University in Tokyo, one of the top business schools in Japan, this program is the opportunity of a lifetime.
Highlights:
Class schedules allow for day trips to popular sites in central Japan, including Kamakura, the ancient capital of Japan, as well as the mountain district around Mount Fuji, Japan's tallest mountain. The group will visit various sites in Tokyo to learn about Japanese business: the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Japanese Parliament (the Diet), the Bank of Japan, and several companies involved in international trade.
