London's innumerable treasures are well known, but one is less so: In the midst of this fascinating city, Florida State University has offered students a small liberal arts college atmosphere for thirty-one years. Small classes, American and British teacher-scholars, n historic setting in the heart of the Bloomsbury district-the FSU London Study Center is a benchmark program for study abroad. The university owns its London facilities, a seven-building complex registered on the British National Heritage list. A major portion of the completely renovated Study Center dates to the seventeenth century. Today, students enjoy the historic architecture along with comfortable flats (apartments), classrooms, a lecture hall/theatre, a library, and a computer lab with Internet connections.
Highlights:
The fully furnished flats at the London Study Center include a sitting room with TV and a well-equipped kitchen. Most students prepare at least two meals a day there. If these spaces are filled, students will be housed in comparable accommodations outside the center. The center has coin laundry facilities.

Fee Includes: all registration and instructional costs for up to 9 undergraduate credit hours for summer 6-week session, up to 15 undergraduate credit hours for summer 13-week session, up to 16 undergraduate credit hours for fall or spring (for graduate course availability contact International Programs); housing; program social/ cultural excursions and activities; health insurance; international student ID card; T-shirt or cap; full-time academic and administrative support.Not Included: round-trip international airfare; passport; food; books and supplies; personal travel/ activity/spending money; class-related performances and events.
