Description:
Enrich your academic studies and improve your chances on the job market by completing one or two semesters of highly application-oriented courses and training at one of Germany's leading universities of applied sciences. All programs: - Are taught in English unless otherwise stated - Are semester-based, full-time studies - Focus on application-oriented, project-based learning in small groups - Convey cross-cultural competence gained through integrated international competence - Award credits according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) upon successful completion of exams; in general, students reach 30 credits/semester (20-24 contact hrs./week) - Issue a Transcript of Records - Offer extensive services and a varied cultural program - Basic knowledge of German is recommended

Qualifications:
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers edu.de Undergraduate Awards to highly qualified undergraduate students for study abroad, university language or summer courses, senior thesis research and/or internships in the Federal Republic of Germany. This is a Long-Term Award for a Semester or Year Abroad between four and ten months, either as part of an organized study abroad program, or as part of an individual, student-designed study abroad semester or year.
