Venusa offers a variety of courses to suit a range of academic needs. All professors are encouraged to use the city, people and surroundings of Merida as a living laboratory. Life sciences professors have the region around Merida at their disposal: a geographical, ecological and biological treasure-trove unlike anywhere else on Earth. Language professors might send students to a local business, market or festival. *VENUSA Courses Offered during Semester and Summer terms

Venusa and Entreamericas Learn & Travel offers a wide variety of excursions and activities for both semester and summer participants. Included in the program fees are at least two guided day-trips to some of the following sites: - The Andes, mountain lakes - National parks - Caribbean beaches - Theme Parks - Museums - Cultural exhibits

VEN-USA International Studies & Modern Languages - Merida, Venezuela's Mission Statement: VENUSA was founded in 1987 by individuals who felt that a greater contact and understanding was necessary between North and South America. At its inception, VENUSA was established as a private institute dedicated to international studies and modern languages, and over the years has grown to satisfy a wide variety of interests.
VENUSA is located in the beautiful city of Mérida, nestled in the heart of the Venezuelan Andes. Though its student body has grown dramatically over the years, VENUSA's goal remains what it has always been: the promotion of greater international understanding through education, and the development of interpersonal relationships between its students, both Venezuelan and North American.
