"SUNY Brockport study abroad programs are for students matriculated in the US only, US students only."
Highlights:
University College London was founded in 1826, and is the oldest and largest college within the University College of London. It was the third university established in England after Oxford and Cambridge, and in accordance with the philosophy of its 'spiritual father', Jeremy Bentham, it was the first to admit students regardless of class, religion, race or sex. UCL is often described as a 'university within a university' since, with over 16,000 students and over 2,000 academic staff it is one of the largest and most diverse university institutions in Britain. Foreign students have come to study at UCL since the mid-nineteenth century and for over 30 years its doors have been open to well-qualified study abroad candidates. Many are attracted by the academic excellence that has produced 10 Nobel Prize winners and notable discoveries like adrenaline. Others find its location amidst the famous Bloomsbury district, within walking distance of the British Museum, new British Library, Regent's Park and the London Zoo, very appealing. Furthermore, the majority of the campus is set on a single 13-acre site constructed around the original quadrangle that contains UCL's library, a stately portico and domed edifice, housing more than 1.5 million volumes. All this is complemented by the adjacent University College London Student Union and a variety of art galleries, theatres, pubs and coffee houses, rock and jazz bars and many other venues that provide ample means of social interaction with students and Londoners.
