The University of Hohenheim is situated in the south of Stuttgart, the state capital of Baden-Wurttemberg, and is housed in and around the historical premises of Hohenheim Castle. It is surrounded by a modern campus, a Botanic and Exotic Garden and three museums. The expansive green spaces make the University campus one of the most attractive in Germany. Highlights:
An extensive sports and culture program is offered by the General Student Committee, university sports, university music and student groups. Students can play soccer, learn acrobatics, or join the guitar group. The international Student Organization also organizes a variety of social events and outings that provide students with opportunities to get to know each other and to become familiar with Germany. Because of its location within a Castle, the university is a center for community cultural events as well. Students will be in the midst of festivals, art exhibitions and concerts.
