Rwanda - Roads to Recovery Lending a Helping Hand

Dates: June 28 - July 16, 2010

Description: This 19 day short term study abroad trip to Rwanda, Africa will be a profound cultural exchange experience for participants from a wide variety of academic interests. Participants will interact and work directly with community members, students and faculty from the Kigali Health Institute in Kigali and Kibuye, Rwanda. The program is designed as a service learning program where participants will take part in community service and educational projects as part of their experiences.

Cost Include Description:

COSTS INCLUDE: Roundtrip airfare from EWR to Kigali, Accommodations (double/ triple occupancy), Some meals, All ground transportation abroad, Tour guides, Tips for guides and drivers), Entrance fees to Akagero Park, Travel Insurance, Pre-departure orientation session at Brookdale.

COSTS NOT INCLUDED: Food in airports, Some meals, Night out at Cadillac (~$40), Night out at Sun City (~$10), Personal expenses / purchases, Donations for service learning.
