Lalibela

Proposed as the 8th wonder of the world by the UNESCO, the 11 rock-hewn churches of are the main attractions of Lalibella. Gondar
This is the 17th Century Ethiopian capital which has a great significance in the countrys history as it returned the idea of building permanent capitals after the long-practiced mobile-camp rule which had been used by a line of princes. Several majestic castles, built way back in an esteemed part of the town called the Imperial Castle Compound, speak out the glory of the kingdom that was. Attractions worth a visit include: the bathing castle of King Fasil, founder of Gondarine dynasty (1632); and the 17th Century Debrebirehan Silassie Church with uniquely painted ceilings and walls.

Bahir Dar
Bahir Dar is a pleasant city located at 1,800 meters above sea level on the shores of Lake Tana, the largest lake in Ethiopia. The lake is endowed with 37 islands out of which 20 of them have got monasteries to some of which female are not allowed to visit. These islands serve as a repository of the wonderful 16th century mural paintings, crowns, crosses and many old church treasures. Blue Nile is spectacular water falls which is found 30kms south of Bahir Dar. "Tiss Abay" Tiss Abay is small town where we take-off the vehicle and expected to walk the uphill for about 20-30 minutes to reach the best view point of the falls which has 45 meters deep and up to 400 meters wide during the rainy season (end June, July, August & September).

Harar
Founded in the 16th Century, Harar today happens to be the fourth most sacred land in Islam after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem, with more than 50 mosques. Home to the Adare, Somali, Argoba and Qotu tribes, Harar stays an exemplary town for religious harmony between Muslim and Christian Ethiopians. The great walls surrounding the old Harar town, built by the Adare tribe to protect themselves against the attack of neighboring tribes, stands still as an attraction to reveal a great history. Harar is thus recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

ADDIS ABABA
The capital of Ethiopia and an official capital of Africa, Addis Ababa is an important representation of Ethiopia on the African continent. It is host to continental and international organizations premises, such as the African Union (AU), the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), and the United Nations Conference Hall. The modern city, Addis Ababa- was founded in 1886 at the site of a hot springs by Emperor Menelik II wife and named Addis Ababa, Meaning new flower. It is centrally located within heart of Ethiopia. The city is situated at 40 longitudes and at 180 latitudes. Its altitude varies from 3200 m.a.s.l at the top of Mount Entoto to 2200 meters at the foot of the city. Omo valley is the part of Ethiopian Rift valley system, which has a divers nature from the dry, savanna plains to the Riverine forest that will found at the bank of Omo and Mago River. Omo River bisects the two National parks Mago and Omo National Park and it is the only tribute of the Lake Turkana. This area is inhabited by different tribes who have untouched culture and traditions. The Omo valley people have ancient customs and traditions that remained for ages. To get to the Omo valley you may pass different village and small town like, Konso, weyito, keyafer, Erbore and Jinka.

Mursi villages, the most celebrated residents of South Omo. Where you can see their interesting culture like women when age reaches about 20, silt is cut between lower lip and mouth. Over the next year, the gap is progressively stretched until it is large enough for small circular clay plate, so the plate is replaced with the larger one, the process that is repeated until eventually the gap is large enough to hold the clay plate. The larger the lip plate woman can wear, the greater her value when she is married.

Turmi is a small town and the region of the very nice Hammer people with unique hairstyle, cultures, ornaments and traditions. Every Monday you will visit the biggest market of the hammer people. Turmi market is famous for its collection of many tribes from different direction of the area like Hammers, Bumes, Karas, Dassenechs, Males, and Banas. Here in Turmi you might see the hammers traditional dance will be arranged by your guide and if you luck you will se also the hammer peoples marriage ceremony where you can see the boy jumping over the bulls this is an initiation ceremony that the boy will transfer to Manhood. Women will be slashing by the Maza (boys jumped before him and not yet married) to express their love to the boy.

ERTALE   means the mountain that smokes in Afar Language. Visiting Ertale is one of the breathtaking events in the middle of the desert; the best time to visit the Erate is at dawn, just to avoid excessive heat, the walking from the near by village to the volcano may take 3 hours is not particularly challenging as the terrain and elevation gain. But upon arrival the edge of the crater opens an exciting spectacle. Several craters emit fumes sign of a massive volcanic activity. From the crater edge exploring the crater where there are formations of lava and ash multicolored. Especially in the evening it will be very impressive on its caldera of Ertale show where the lava red (which can be seen only at night) that bubbles in the caldera is unique and fascinating, taking also aware that this is one of the 3 volcanoes in the world constantly active.

DALLOL Dallol is a magic of Africa and an unreal high hill about fifty meters in the heart of Danakil Depression. The landscape changes continuously taking unreal shapes and colors between the fumes of small volcanic cones, a seems a real magic. Denakil Depression encompasses one if the fewest low land in the world which is 116 m.a.s.l, with the salte lakes and active volcanoes. The konso peoples are found 90KM from Arbaminch on the top of the mountain this peoples are very famous by their hard working nation even they have received the GREEN international Award as the result of their striving achievement their own unique style of trussing system, The konso they have share their border with Derashe in the Northern part, with Telele (Ormia Reign), East with Burji and Amaru zone and finally in the west with Tsemai zone. Their language group is from Cushitic and they have 200000 speakers.

The unique feature of the Konso o people are they live in community based village, this community will have a compound and in this compound there will be many families and in the center of the compound there will be square called Mera, this Mera used for celebrating fests, Ceremonies some times to resolve conflicts with in the community, and this Mera (square) will be marked by the standing wood and the surrounded by Stones. Beside this Mera they Konso people built a big house which will serve as a bedroom for the youth Groups normally they will build one but if the number of youngsters are to many the will built another one next to the old one; This mass bed room is called GEMENA.

Besides this the konso people they have a unique culture when some body pass away, after the death they will arrange a special statue made of wood by the rifle of the persons and they will put it on the cemetery, the statue will have different implication like sex and the achievement of the person. Normally this statue will be erected after three days of the death of the person.
