Description: The Psychology program is designed for students of psychology - very few other study abroad programs offer the range of courses in psychology that DIS offers.

Students in the Psychology program will enroll in the Psychology of Happiness core course, which is an examination of recent psychological research in the rapidly expanding field of positive psychology. This course will also delve into the constructs of well-being and happiness, and the ways in which positive emotions influence cognition, health, wealth, and social relationships.

Psychology

Highlights: Students enrolled in the Psychology program will participate in a short study tour in Denmark, as well as a longer European study tour to Scotland. The study tours, which are included in tuition, form an integral part of the core course. Students will explore and compare how the psychology of happiness is applied in various institutions, organizations, as well as in areas of research in Denmark and Scotland.
