Description:
The SUNY Brockport Program at the University of Adelaide is a one semester or full-year program offered in both the fall and spring semesters. This SUNY Overseas Academic Program is designed primarily for upper division (junior/senior year) students matriculated at American colleges and universities. It provides the opportunity for undergraduates to spend a portion of their academic careers as students at this Australian university. The SUNY Brockport University of Adelaide Program allows American undergraduates to become, for their semester or year of participation, actual University of Adelaide undergraduates. They will attend the same classes, live in the same housing, and participate in the same social, cultural, athletic, and academic extracurricular activities as their Australian counterparts. The program seeks to fully integrate American students into this Australian University for a semester or a year. "SUNY Brockport study abroad programs are for students matriculated in the US only, US students only."
Highlights:
* Participants will be directly enrolled in the University of Adelaide's courses and programs.
* Total integration with the University's undergraduate students: Participants enroll in the same courses, sit in the same classes, complete the same assignments, are taught by the same teachers, and live in the same housing as matriculated Australian students.
* Course selection is made prior to departure. Participants know for certain what courses they will enroll in before they arrive in Adelaide.
