Term: Fall, Spring
Description:
Mangalore is a beautiful scenic city with lush green surroundings that add to its peaceful atmosphere. Located near the western coast of India, Mangalore is near mountains and rivers, which complement the winding streets, coconut trees, gable-roofed houses, beaches, temples and churches. With a long history in maritime trading, Mangalore is still a major exporter of cashews and coffee. Trade has also led to all three major communities Hindu, Muslim and Christian - settling down and contributing to its unique culture.
