Description:
Enjoy a classical European study-abroad experience at a fraction of the cost with WEgroup's Prague Semester and Prague Summer programs. You'll build international work experience and earn college credit - and the friendships and memories you build will last a lifetime. Hosted by Anglo-American University, all classes are taught in English (except Czech language courses), so no Czech language background is required. Internship placements are also English-friendly. Students have access to the entire course catalog during spring and fall terms, though scheduling restrictions and prerequisites may apply. Prague is well known as a center of diplomacy. Popular courses at AAU include: * History of the Cold War * Politics of the European Union * The Jewish Experience in Central Europe * Ethno-Political Conflict and International Terrorism * War and Diplomacy The Prague Summer Program focuses more heavily on the internship component. Students will take intensive Elementary Czech for the first 2.5 weeks, followed by one elective for the remainder of the session. Summer 2010 courses have not been scheduled yet, but Summer 2009 courses included: * East Central Europe in Transition * Sociology of Intercultural Communications * Prague Art & Architecture * Global Migration
