Description:
This course is coordinated through The University of New South Wales's Australian School of Business within the Faculty of Banking and Finance. This school provides extensive experience in business relations throughout South East Asia. The program will consist of lecturers, workshops, consulate presentations and guest presentations from representatives of South East Asian countries. The consulate presentations will enable the students to comprehend the unique aspects of each country and identify positive ways to open business channels with these nations. The course will develop a theoretical understanding of how to do business in foreign countries by examining the methodologies of country risk assessment as a foundation for developing business in Asian countries. In conjunction to this, research and lecture material will centre on the South East Asian as a unique economic zone, where countries work independently unlike the united economic zone of the European Economic Union.

- Includes guided travel to five distinct regions of Australia (Darwin, Kakadu, Canberra, Sydney and Cairns) - Earn academic credit transferable to your home degree - Students will focus on the developments of four distinct countries - Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, and the aspects that affect various components of their business.

Cost Include Description:
The program fee includes tuition (worth 12 UNSW credits, generally 6-8 US credits, on a UNSW transcript); all accommodation; excursion costs; airport shuttle services; orientation programs; and a UNSW student card (allowing access to all UNSW facilities); all meals when camping in Kakadu National Park, breakfasts and lunches in Sydney, breakfasts in Canberra, and breakfasts and final dinner in Cairns. The program fee does not include other meals or airfares.
