Description:
We issue I-0s for F-1 international students: 20 hours per week for 16 weeks. Application is 3 pages including a financial statement. F-1 transfer students also complete a 4th page. Students who want to attend the College of Marin credit program waive TOEFL requirement after completing level 3 of the IEP. Four courses (grammar, reading, writing, listening/speaking/pronunciation) meet 5 hours each week. Au pairs (J-1) living in the area can choose 8-week or 16-week programs between 5 and 15 hours per week. Certificate issued for hours completed. Program includes: - Free lunch-time electives: book club, movies, TOEFL prep, pronunciation. - Two field trips in San Francisco Bay Area per semester. - Cultural events and parties round out the program. - Internet Cafe on campus with email and language program access.
