Description:
The program addresses multiple aspects of Croatia including, national identity, conflict, Slavic culture, international relations, heritage conservation, and public health. Most regions of the country are visited and the program is experiential. Faculty from the University of Georgia, University of Zagreb, Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences provide lectures and lead discussion on a wide range of issues relating to life in Croatia.
Highlights:
Visits to World Heritage Sites - Plitvice Lakes, Diocletian's Palace in Split, City of Dubrovnik, and Euphrasian Basilica in Porec - governmental and public health institutions, other cultural and natural sites, universities and institutes, cultural events, at least one Adriatic island.

Cost Include Description:
Cost includes accommodations, in-country transportation, two meals a day (breakfast and either lunch or dinner), admissions. Coast does not include airfare or tuition.
