Our leading-edge hospitality instruction still emphasizes the individuality of our students while developing the integrity, mind-set as well as aptitude so necessary in the demanding industry of tourism and hospitality. At IHT Hotel School a student is not just a number but receives personal attention. Our international diploma is a three-year program consisting of 22 modules. Apart from the on-campus academic sessions, students will also receive the opportunity to apply their newly acquired theoretical knowledge while working in a hotel/guesthouse. Here they receive on-the-job training to be able to operate efficiently and effectively in the Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping departments. Students, who wish to do so, may also complete their first in-service session in America. We have an in-take in January as well as one in June of each year. Each group starts with a fun filled induction period consisting of an overview of IHT, introduction to Cape Town Tourism as well as various team building activities.
