Description:
The Saving the Stones curriculum is a training program in historical and archaeological conservation, taught by both classes in theory and practical workshops. Supplementary Curriculum: * History of Zionism and the State of Israel: lectures on recent Israeli history, tours, visits and hospitality in a kibbutz, Jewish National Fund (JNF) in Northern Israel. * Getting to Know Israel: tours throughout the country - Jerusalem and the Judean Hill region; the Galilee; the Negev; Tel Aviv-Jaffa; the Golan Heights and more.

Degree Level: Bachelors Degree (Undergraduate)
Qualifications:
Third year, or above, college/university student in a related field e.g., conservation, architecture, art history, archaeology, geography, classical, medieval or religious studies; design fields - photography, art, graphics, or similar.
Minimum Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts

International Conservation Center's Mission Statement: International Conservation Center-Saving the Stones program, is a practical training course in historical and archaeological conservation.
It is initiated by the International Conservation Center in Old Acre (ICC), and is a joint project of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), the Old Acre Development Company and the Acre Municipality.
