Term: Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter
Dates: Year round

Description: The Crisler Library in Ephesos is expanding its Study Abroad program and would like to invite you to bring your students to Ephesus.

With the resources of the library, a unique and well-learned faculty and a friendly home base for students, CLE provides the kind of study abroad experience students seek, parents feel comfortable with, and faculty can plan robust programs around.

Not only will students benefit from the library and its very close proximity to Ephesos, but also they will have the opportunity to visit key historical sites in the surrounding region, such as Pergamum, Thyatira, Miletas, Priene, Patmos, and many others.

Universities interested in training their students in archaeology, classics, art history, philology, Ephesus, etc. may rent our branch campus facilities including conference room (30 capacity), reference library, study hall, and dining options. A faculty comprised of the Austrian faculty responsible for significant discovery and research at EPhesus is available for lectures and site visits. Nearby sites include Miletus, Priene and Nyssa.

Ephesian Immersion for Adults - We are currently designing a program for 2010 that will include a week of intensive education on the history, architecture, discoveries and ecology of Ephesus. The Austrian archaeological team will be the faculty.

All books in the Research Library are cataloged according to the Library of Congress system. The Muharrem Kayhan Conference Hall is includes an overhead projector, podium, VCR, AC, and is set up with classroom style tables and chairs. The Ephesus Study Guide written by members of the Faculty and their Austrian colleagues will be provided by CLE and used as a textbook for the session.
