Description:
The university program is designed for students, researchers and teachers, as well as for people working in the fields of politics, economics, culture and media who want to learn more about German and European culture, economy and politics and learn the German language or refresh their German by participating in an intensive language course. All university courses offered in a combination of German and/or English are possible.
Highlights:
1 German Language Course 1 History & Culture Course 2 Subject Courses = up to 17 US credits Credits will be issued in European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) points through the Philipps-Universität Marburg. Attendance counts towards credits! In addition to the study program, an interesting cultural program is offered, which is covered by the fee. * Day trips to Frankfurt, Cologne, Weimer, Trier for example * Weekend excursion to Berlin (transportation, housing, for example: tour of the German Parliament and other cultural activities)

Cost Include Description:
* Meet & greet at the airport and orientation * Transfer by public transportation together with your CEPA coordinator to your student accommodation * Welcome Dinner * Orientation at the campus * Weekly meeting with CEPA on-site coordinator who will also be available to students for the duration of the program * Registration fee * Information package and course materials * German Language course (120 hours) * German History and Culture course (48 hours) * 2 courses of your choice (48 hours each) * Weekend excursions, opening and closing event, evening events, etc. (as described in the itinerary) * Weekend excursion to Berlin * Accommodation in a single room at the university's dormitory * Meals - EUR 50 (credited each month to a cafeteria debit card) * Public transportation pass for the program duration in Marburg * Cell phone for the duration of the program (minutes not included) * Placement and final exam
