Highlights:
Accounting & Payroll Administrator The Accounting and Payroll Administrator program equips you with the tools necessary to meet the demands of the current job market. The objective of this program is to give you hands-on training in the key areas of accounting and payroll. In addition to these core skills, you will learn how to use computerized accounting programs such as Simply Accounting and ACCPAC. By the end of your program, you will have all the necessary skills to keep a set of books, both manually and on a computerized system. Business Administration The goal of our Business Administration program is to train students in the most relevant, up-to-date aspects of business management and administration. The program's content reflects current trends and best practices in business administration. You will learn the key aspects of business from operating computers to accounting to project management. Courses that will prepare you for business success include Windows Fundamentals, Effective Business Writing, Marketing and Professional Skills. Law Enforcement Foundations This program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and basic skills needed for successful employment in this field. Courses that will fully prepare you for a rewarding career in Law Enforcement include Conflict Resolution, Investigation Techniques, Criminology and Human Behaviour. You will also gain career-focused skills in courses like Career Strategies and Introduction to Computers. After graduation, you can expect to find work as a Police Officer, Parole Officer, Public Security Guard and Private Detective. Private Investigator is rated one of the top 30 careers for future growth. Legal Administrative Assistant The Legal Administrative Assistant program is an intensive study of the legal profession. In this program, you will learn legal office procedures, terminology, court systems, legal record keeping and bookkeeping as well as preparation, filing and service of legal documents. You will also enhance your administrative and computer skills through hands-on training with industry-standard software. Travel & Tourism The Travel and Tourism program combines technical computer training with the necessary sales skills for a career-focused education. You will learn to operate the two main computer reservation systems used in Canadian travel agencies; Apollo and SABRE. In addition, you will learn about worldwide destinations, cruises, ticketing, tariffs and travel agency operations. After graduation, you can successfully compete for jobs such as tour operators, airline attendants, travel agents and cruise ship facilitators.
