Description:
Students have the opportunity to enroll in one of two courses offered in Mombasa: an eight-week course of study in Intermediate Kiswahili taught by Ann Biersteker from the Yale Department of African Studies; or a five-week course titled History of East Aftrica, taught by Thomas McDow and Alison Norris. Participants in either course will be able to explore Mombasa and surrounding regions through organized program activities.
