Description: The MA in International Hospitality Management seeks to develop students critical analytic skills and foster their creativity so that they can respond effectively to key challenges facing the hospitality industry. The key themes that recur throughout the programme include ; human resource issues and the management of cultural diversity, strategic management and internationalization. Graduates will be equipped with a range of skills to deal with trends and changes in the sector such as the growth of IT, new business practices and a more competitive market place. There is a focus on research methods allowing students to develop a major piece of independent study.

Programme features include:
* An integrated programme organized around a series of inter-related case study analysis.
* The development of critical analytical skills
* A focus on the application of management styles and techniques in the hospitality industry
* A focus on the development of relevant research skills

Programme Duration
1 year intensive full-time comprising 5 months taught programme (academic term) and six months supervised independent research on distance learning

* English level equivalent to TOEFL 550
* Degree in a related discipline
* A minimum of eight months relevant work experience
* Mature applicants, with over 5 years supervisory work experience, will be considered without higher qualifications
