Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), Milan, Italy's premier private university, has introduced a program of university courses taught in English available to EuroLearn students. For the first time in Italy, international study abroad students may enroll in a comprehensive Italian university and receive their education in English. The semester courses delivered in English are designed for students who want to increase their understanding of the political, business, cultural and artistic environment and heritage of Italy. The program comprises of courses that define Italy's role within the European Union as well as her relationship with non-European countries. Students who are fluent in Italian can enroll in Italian-taught courses across a variety of disciplines. Located in the city center of Milan, the UCSC campus is within walking distance of many of Milan's historical, cultural, and religious sites: the Duomo, Santa Maria delle Grazie (Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper), Castello Sforzesco, and many more. EuroLearn is an educational program of GlobaLinks Learning Abroad and a sister program of AustraLearn, a leader in the field of international education with a 20 year history sending over 20,000 students abroad to partner universities in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. Most of our partner universities are in smaller towns that offer an intimate connection to the local culture. Plus, our lower program fees will allow you to experience the UK for less. U.S. University Transcript option is available through our School of Record, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. EuroLearn's London-based Resident Director offers 24-hour emergency support to all students upon arrival in Europe.
Highlights:
The UCSC International Relations Office organizes a free weekend excursion once a semester. Locations will vary per semester and will highlight the treasures of Northern Italian culture such as Padova, Parma, Arezzo or Sienna. Students will discover the sights, sounds and tastes (architecture, vineyards, culinary specialties, and much more) of particular Northern Italian regions.
