Mexico

Bacalar
Term: Throughout the year

Description:
The position consists of watching over our 5 room bed and breakfast hotel on Lake Bacalar, a sleepy "real" Mexican village near the Belize border. No Cancun here. After training you will be on your own. We have a couple as staff there, who clean, do breakfast and watch over the place. You will be managing the place, selling the rooms, being host, solving problems, directing and helping staff. Job is 24/7 in the sense that you need to deal with a problem at any time it should occur, be it middle of the night, day or whatever. But in total it entails relatively little time and downtime is on this beautiful lake. There is no monetary renumeration, but we provide a great room with AC, TV, DVD, Stereo and breakfast. Depending on the length of the internship, there may be other assignments. Or perhaps we, may need you to help out in other locations (Holbox or Cozumel).
