Description: The Semester program of Mente Argentina was designed for those students who wish to attend a semester in an Argentine university and obtain academic credit for their home universities.

The program lasts 4 months and the decision concerning what classes to attend is personal. It is important to point out that the classes can be delivered both in Spanish and English.

You don't need to have an initial level of Spanish since the program is oriented both to students with elementary and advanced level of the language.

If you don't have an advanced level, the university semester program offers you the possibility to attend a month intensive course in Spanish (it is optional and it takes place before starting classes) so that you can catch up with the language and adapt to the pace of an Argentine university as soon as possible. Besides, the activities and cultural tours organized by Mente Argentina will help you to improve your Spanish quickly; you will meet a lot of people with whom you will be able to practice.

The program is divided in 2 stages:

* First stage (Pre-Enrollment):
During the first stage of this program, the Director of Educational Programs will inform you about the benefits and outstanding features of each university. Each Argentine university specializes in different course of studies; there is a university famous for its course in Law, and there is another university famous for its course in Technology. Mente Argentina will advise you on them so that you make the best choice according to the course you are interested in.

Such advice will be given through reports which will be sent to you, and through a permanent contact with our area of educational programs.

* Second stage (Enrollment and Welcome):
During this second stage of the program, Mente Argentina will enroll you on the chosen university. Additionally, Mente Argentina will be in charge of the submission of all the necessary documentation to carry out such enrollment.

During this stage we will confirm the accommodation you have chosen. Once the university has been chosen, the Director of Educational Programs will get in touch with you in order to identify the most convenient university courses which will fit your preferences. The decision concerning the schedule and the courses to attend is personal.

Highlights: Academic Credits:

Normally, those students who attend a semester in Argentina through Mente Argentina get approximately 15 credits, although the total credits will depend on the number of classes you wish to attend.

At the end of the course, the chosen university will issue a diploma which certifies the attended subjects and their corresponding marks. The Semester program of Mente Argentina is delivered in renowned universities worldwide, so there won't be any trouble as regards the validation of credits. Anyway, once the university has been chosen, we advise you to inform this at the international studies department of you university to avoid further inconveniences.

Do you want to learn or improve your Spanish? (optional)

Mente Argentina offers you the possibility to combine your program with Spanish lessons. In this way, you will be able to learn or improve your Spanish while enjoying a unique experience in Buenos Aires.

Lessons take 4 hours and are delivered from Monday to Friday at the MA Spanish School in reduced groups of up to 8 students. These group classes will be combined with individual lessons so that you can reinforce your weaknesses and we can answer your inquiries in a one on one meeting.

Spanish School's teachers are highly qualified and have a vast experience in teaching Spanish as a second language. Therefore, the classes will be interactive and above all enjoyable! The classes can be attended both in the morning and the afternoon, so they will not overlap with the activities of your program.
