Description:
This program is designed for undergraduates, graduates and professionals interested in international business, marketing, finance, management, economics, foreign policy, commerce law and European relations. Coursework is offered in English, and is supplemented with internships at local businesses, law firms and government agencies, and extensive field trips and excursions. The program includes sightseeing and cultural excursions in Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and London. All courses and field trips are conducted in English. Depending on course-load and internship involvement, students can earn up to 22 credit units towards their undergraduate or graduate degree. Students must take 3 core courses in business, law, or diplomacy, as well as the European Union Seminar; all other courses are optional.
Highlights:
Host Institution - Founded in 1973, the International Management Institute (IMI) is today recognized as a leading business, diplomacy, and language school in Belgium, Brussels. The University maintains close student-faculty interaction by limiting class size to 20, and an overall enrollment of 400 students from all over the world. The language of instruction on campus is English. Brussels is the economic and political capital of Europe (capital of Belgium as well as capital of the EU), with the European Commission, European Parliament, European Investment Bank and NATO located in close proximity to the IMI campus. Belgium also has 3 official languages - French, German and Dutch - making it the perfect location to study European business and politics, as well as culture, languages, and global communication. Courses: Students take the required European Union Seminar (3 credits), and select 3 EBLD core courses; all other courses are optional. All courses are in the English language. Excursions: The program includes extensive sightseeing and cultural excursions in Brussels, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bruges, Berlin, London, and Paris. Living: Students live in fully furnished apartments, located in the central district of Brussels, walking distance to classes. Student activities on campus include sports, academic clubs and social events with Belgium and international students.

Cost Include Description:
Tuition for 8-week summer term = $5,875; Fall or spring semester = $10,875; Academic Year = $26,825. Tuition includes all academic fees (up to 18 credits), internship placement and supervision, professional visits, textbooks, accommodations, on-site support, mobile phone, medical and travel insurance, and extensive excursions in Europe. All forms of federal, state and local financial aid and scholarship awards can be applied towards the program tuition.
