Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world. IES Milan offers students an outstanding opportunity to study Italian language and culture as well as a wide range of other subjects in a centuries-old environment. As one of a few American programs in Milan, IES offers students the opportunity to integrate fully into the modern Italian life of a big city through living, studying and interacting daily with the native population.
Highlights:
* Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Italian programs for students at all proficiency levels. * Internship placements that have included with fashion designers, photographers and international companies. * Field trips to sites such as Siena, Mantova, the Palladian villas in Veneto, the Italian Riviera, Tuscany, and the Alpine village of Bormio. * IES area studies courses in Art History, Cinema, Drama, History, Literature, Music, and Political Science. * University courses for advanced students at the Libera University di Lingue e Comunicazione (IULM) and at the University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. * University courses in both English and Italian for business majors at the Universitý Bocconi.
