Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world. The IES Dublin Summer program is designed for students who seek intensive academic exposure to the country's political and social history, contemporary economic issues, and literary heritage. Field study plays a central role in the IES summer program in Dublin. By combining coursework with study outside the classroom, students have the opportunity to discover the rich heritage of Ireland as well as its contemporary culture through its art, theater, film and walking tours of the city's significant architectural, literary and political markers. IES students enjoy privileges at Trinity facilities, including access to its library collections and computer labs.
