Description:
The biological science major is designed to give the student a broad understanding of the basic and unifying principles of biology. This major is recommended for students planning to enter the fields of medicine, dentistry, veterinary studies, or allied health, or to attend graduate school in the life sciences.
Highlights:
The biology curriculum prepares pre-medical students for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), which should be taken during the junior year. Note: Due to limitations on the AMU-LAC campus, it may be necessary to go to AMU-Naples for one year to complete all requirements or recommended courses.
