Business Administration
Nicaragua
Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring, Summer, Throughout the year, Winter
Dates: Please contact us for more info.
Description:
The Business Administration major recognizes the importance and relevance for business students to be exposed to a traditional liberal arts education as a basis for their professional business studies. This is particularly true in an increasingly global environment where business leaders need to have the skill and sensitivity to deal with different cultures and value systems, as well as be trained in multidisciplinary approaches to the analysis and solution of business problems within their broader socio-economic, political, environmental, and human contexts. In keeping with the mission of Ave Maria University -Latin American Campus, our students learn to apply Catholic ethical principles in a way that fosters critical reflection on the concrete and varied problems in Latin America that business leaders who take their Catholic and Christian identity seriously must confront. Our graduates will be able to conduct business affairs in light of the teachings of the Catholic Church, in particular, the social encyclicals of the popes over the last century, as well as be prepared with the very latest analytical tools, critical thinking capabilities, and applications that business organizations need today.
