Description: It's no wonder why Europe is among many students' top choices to study abroad. The region is filled with fascinating cultures, languages, architecture, art, history, and so much more! EuroLearn's direct enrollment programs give you the opportunity to choose from a range of academic areas, live and study alongside local students, and immerse yourself in European culture.

Study abroad with EuroLearn at Kingston University London. Kingston University London is well recognized for the strength of the academic departments, the quality of instruction, and the proximity to London. With about 19,000 students, it is the largest provider of higher education in southwest London.

Kingston University seeks to establish a learning culture in which teaching and research of the highest quality are able to flourish equally. It aims to combine respect for traditional academic values with enthusiasm for novelty and innovation in higher education. Research at Kingston keeps teaching up-to-date with the most recent developments, and many lecturers feed knowledge from industry or the professions into their teaching. Kingston puts students at the heart of its enterprise.

EuroLearn is an educational program of GlobaLinks Learning Abroad and a sister program of AustraLearn, a leader in the field of international education with a 20 year history sending over 20,000 students abroad to partner universities in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. EuroLearn's excellent student services and support will provide you with a successful abroad experience.

Our programs are located in unique destinations within the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe. Most of our partner universities are in smaller towns that offer an intimate connection to the local culture. Plus, our lower program fees will allow you to experience the UK for less. All the essential services are still provided, so you get the best value for your money.

U.S. University Transcript option is available through our School of Record, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.

Participants of this program can attend the 3-4 day Bridging Cultures Program in London approximately 2-5 weeks after arrival. This pre-semester workshop blends lecture, adventure, and culture together for an informative and fun introduction to Europe.

EuroLearn's London-based Resident Director offers 24-hour emergency support to all students upon arrival in Europe.

EuroLearn and Kingston University London

Highlights: Most undergraduate subject areas are open to study abroad students and students design their own program of study (subject to classes being approved and timetabling constraints). Kingston has six Faculties that participate in the Study Abroad program: Art, Design and Architecture; Arts and Social Sciences; Business and Law; Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics; Engineering; Science.

Kingston offers a British Life and Culture class to all Study Abroad students. The class is designed to help students gain optimum benefit from their UK experience and become aware of British culture in its many aspects. Lectures are given on various aspects of British life, culture, and history followed by excursions to places of special interest including Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge, Greenwich, the Globe Theatre, and Parliament. In addition to the lectures and excursions each student undertakes an independent study on some aspect of British Life.

A range of weekend and day trips are offered specifically to international students during each semester through the Kingston University International Students Society. Many students make their own travel plans to "see and do" Europe while studying at Kingston. Paris is less than four hours by train!

London is a 25 minute train ride away and has something for everyone: culture, arts, restaurants, and clubs. There are plenty of historical and cultural sites and events to visit and enjoy.
