Description:
Dig your way through ancient Greece! Dig your way through nearly five thousand years of Greek history. Join us for a three-week pre-summer class that will give you a profound and dynamic understanding of archaeology and its contribution to our knowledge of ancient Greek history and civilization. Through our Greek Civilization and Archeology course, you'll visit the Parthenon in Athens, where you'll gain new insights into past civilizations. Within Athens, you'll take field trips to sites like the Acropolis and the National Archaeological Museum (ranked one of the top 10 museums in the world). Beyond the city of Athens, you'll travel to ancient Delphi and the island of Aegina. As an archeologist, you'll continue on a three-day adventure to the Argolis -- Corinth, Mycenae, Tiryns, Epidaurus, Nauplion Program Course: CLS 1775 - Greek Archaeology on site
