Santa Reparata International School of Art: Santa Reparata International School of Art is an independent institution providing accredited academic year and semester studio art programs, short workshops, and summer classes of the highest caliber. The class schedules are based on the American university model and are taught in English. University Fast Facts: * Santa Reparata was founded in 1970 as the Santa Reparata Graphic Art Centre providing limited editions for artists, printmaking classes for students, and open-studio workshop privileges for independent printmakers. * Class sizes ranging from 10-14 students allow for individualized attention and personal work space, with well-equipped classroom facilities to explore artistic media from the traditional to the experimental. * SRISA campuses are located in the heart of the city center minutes away from most of the city's historic treasures. John Cabot University: John Cabot University was founded in Rome in 1972, with American roots to offer students from the United States ease of credit transfer, courses taught in English, and a taste of Europe and Italian culture abroad. There are over 100 full and part-time professors from around the world, offering an array of courses in John Cabot's man campus near St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican City, situated along the Tiber River. University Fast Facts: * Americans, Italians, and other students from many countries world-wide * All courses except Italian language and literature classes, are taught in English, and follow the traditional U.S. university specifications on a semester system * John Cabot University offers a full four-year liberal arts curriculum each semester, with over 120 courses * A variety of extra-curricular activities to choose from, including theater group, student government, intramural sports teams and community volunteer programs Sorrento Lingue Institute: Sorrento Lingue International Language Academy operates under the authorization of the Italian Ministry of Public Education and is a member of Edu Italia. The faculty is fluent in English and Italian, all with high degrees from their native Italy. Class sizes are around 12 students each, and professors all have experience teaching students from around the world. In addition to Italian language courses, Sorrento Lingue staff and your Panrimo coordinator take students out of the classroom and into the city to see the sites, taste the cuisine, and enjoy the company of local Sorrentinis. On-site orientation: The Panrimo Coordinator welcomes all students to the host city, discusses cultural nuances and customs, and acclimates each student to the new city. 4. Cultural immersion activities throughout host city, as listed on panrimo.com. 5. Entry packet before departure: A booklet to help students know what to expect abroad, what to pack, how much money to gage spending, city emergency information (telephone numbers, hospitals), when and where to go for cultural events, cultural sites, cultural customs and norms, city map, list of local grocery stores and food markets with detailed map, directions, hours, and more. This entry packet is specific to each host city, and contains general study abroad information. 6. Personalized advising: To best prepare you for life abroad, Panrimo assigns you a personal study abroad advisor to advise you on your application, payment procedures, and to answer any questions you may have about your Panrimo Program. 7.
