Departure Date and Return Date: Leave USA May 31st and arrive in Amman on May 31st or June 1st and leave to return home August 9th or 10th (10 weeks). Orientation: June 3-6 in Amman, Jordan led by Fred Tiedemann and his Jordanian team (in Jordan, the weekends are on Friday and Saturday) Eight-Week Study Period which includes the following study days: June 7-11; June 14-18; June 21-25; July 5-9; July 12-16; July 19-23; July 26-30; Aug 2-6 Weekend and Mid-Term Study Excursions (weekend dates not listed are "free weekends": *6/5 The Citadel / Jordan Archeological Museum *6/12 Wadi Mujib Canyon & Waterfalls Hike *6/28-7/1 Midterm Break Trip: Sharm Al-Sheikh, Egypt - Midterm Break (Red Sea - snorkeling, shopping, etc.) *7/10 Jerash Roman Ruins / Ajloun Castle *7/24 The Ancient City of Petra *7/31 The Baptismal Site / Dead Sea Transportation and All Entrance Tickets Included. Meals not included except for Sharm Al-Sheikh Trip Housing: Accommodations will be in furnished apartments. Males and females will be housed in separate areas.
