Description: Earn up to 18 credits this summer while traveling through England, Scotland, Ireland and Spain. During this 10 week program to the Europe, you will experience a summer full of quality academic study, fantastic excursions and learn about these unique countries.

Spend the first 3 weeks living with British students at Edge Hill University in Northwest England. Enjoy daily excursions to cities such as Liverpool and Manchester as well as 5 full days exploring London. Next, journey to Scotland for a week to some of Scotland's most notorious locations. Explore the Scottish highlands including Inverness, Stirling Castle, Edinburgh or cruise Loch Ness to see if you can spy Nessie for yourself. Week 6 will be spent in Ireland touring the capital city of Dublin and other incredible sites such as Trinity College, Sligo, the Yeats Memorial Building, Galway and the Aran Islands.

The final 4 weeks will be spent in Northern Spain enhancing your Spanish language skills. You will have the opportunity to practice their newly acquired language skills both inside and outside of the classroom. Situated north of Madrid, Valladolid boasts a unique blend of modern and ancient culture and architecture. In the past 25 years, the university has experienced spectacular growth, innovation and recognition as one of the premier universities in Spain. This medium-sized city provides an ideal environment to experience the local Spanish culture including restaurants and nightlife, parks, and outdoor recreation areas.

* Housing
During the first 3 weeks students will live in on-campus residence halls with British students and other international students. For the remaining 3 weeks in the UK, students will be housed in hotels throughout England, Ireland and Scotland. During the 4 weeks in Spain, students will be housed with local homestay families. Apartments are also available upon request, however, IEP highly encourages the homestay option.
