Description:
Intern and gain real world experience in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Chiang Mai, founded in 1296, is an historic city known for its Northern Thai cuisine, hill tribe communities and centuries-old Lanna culture. As an intern, you will work abroad with the community and one of our affiliated non-governmental organizations (NGO's), government social programs or a self-initiated project. Your project is determined by community need as well as your skills and interests. You will be part of real, sustainable development. A designated Project Coordinator guides each intern through the project planning, execution, and conclusion phases of their program. In addition, interns enjoy a flexible program structure which allows them to gradually increase their level of immersion. Live with a local family and immerse yourself in the local culture. Programs also include cultural and adventure excursions including visits to national parks, exploring local artisan communities and remote community cultural festivals.
