Description: At TIES we are constantly searching for innovative and creative ways to make your education and experience at TIES the best it can possibly be. After extensive market research we identified an opportunity to create a learning environment that is unique in Australia and even the world.

The TIES educational structure evolves around a four day week, allowing students to enjoy a 'long weekend' every week. Condensing our courses into intensive four day modules allows TIES students more opportunities to learn through cultural immersion.

TIES courses are tailored to suit your needs and individual requirements. Once you have completed the enrolment process, TIES will send you a questionnaire that will provide us with information about your requirements. TIES courses provide many different pathways or 'choices waiting to be made'.

TIES is located in tropical North Queensland where it is sunny, unpolluted and picturesque. The city is positioned on the shores of the Great Barrier Reef with the Australian Outback and beautiful tropical rainforests surrounding it.

We provide excellent student services from accommodation placement and academic counseling, to an awesome social activities program. At TIES we provide opportunities for students to excel at all levels. The possibilities and pathways available for a TIES student are amazing. The city of Townsville is located in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. Townsville is a cosmopolitan city in the heart of the North providing a base for further exploration in all directions. From the world heritage listed rainforests and the amazing Great Barrier Reef to the Whitsunday Islands and Outback Australia there are a multitude of different activities that would suit any type of person. Whether you are into extreme activities such as sky-diving, white water rafting and scuba diving or more relaxing pastimes such as movies, delicious food and world class music - Townsville has what you want.

Townsville is surrounded by tropical rainforest and waterfalls, the outback, islands and the Great Barrier Reef. A destination in its own right but also a natural departure point for many trips further a field.

In the centre of town there is the world renowned Reef HQ "The worlds largest living coral reef aquarium", IMAX theatre and the Museum of Tropical North Queensland. Additionally, there are plenty of excellent cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, nightclubs and the casino. You will find the people of Townsville very relaxed and 'laid back' and always willing to offer assistance.
