Studying abroad at Champlain College Dublin offers students an international perspective and prepares them to be global professionals. Our courses fit across majors with a variety of liberal arts, professional and interdisciplinary options that provide students with an understanding of Irish culture and perspectives and a more global understanding of self. Dublin has been the hub of much of Ireland's history. It is a city steeped in ancient Celtic heritage. Today, Dublin serves as Ireland's economic and cultural center. Champlain residential apartments sit off the tree-lined Grand Canal, a few blocks from Champlain College Dublin, with a direct bus route to connect you with the rest of the city. A few minutes in the other direction are the neighborhood shops, markets and cafes on Baggot Street.
Highlights:
The small, intimate academic setting allows for personalized attention and features courses taught by our local Champlain College Dublin faculty. Course offerings include a core of place-based general education courses such as history, literature and fine arts that make the most of the cultural and professional opportunities unique to Dublin. Professional program courses such as business and finance are taught by industry professionalsgiving students unique insights into and connections within the industry. Typical Living Arrangements: Each self-catering, fully furnished apartment is bright and spacious with two, two-person bedrooms. There will be a head resident on site for after hours emergencies and a receptionist on site during regular business hours. Application Process Involves: Champlain Abroads admission process ensures that all students selected to study at our Dublin campus are capable of performing at the same high academic standards as students at the home campus in Burlington, Vermont.
