The University also has a centre in Prato, Italy, used as a base to engage closely with European research centers and also to provide the opportunity for undergraduate programs to broaden learning experiences. The $207 million Australian Synchrotron, the $300 million Science Technology Research and Innovation Precinct that includes the Australian Stem Cell Centre, plus a new electron microscope that is one of the most powerful in the world.
