Imagine being in Rome and strolling past the Coliseum, St. Peter's, and the Forum -- the very monuments that you will be studying in class. That's just what you will experience as a student on our program in the center of Historic Rome. You will be right in the heart of Rome, with all of the major attractions of the eternal city within walking distance. All courses offered through the Accademia Italiana (with the exception of Italian language) are taught in English by Italian faculty. Courses are available in the following areas: Italian Language, Archaeology, Sociology, Film, and Studio Art. You may either take one course for three credits or two courses for six credits. * Italian language is taught in small group settings with students who are at your level introductory, intermediate or advanced. Credits and Grades Students take one course for three credits or two courses for six credits. Admission Requirements GPA Requirements: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. You must be in good academic standing and not on disciplinary probation. You need to submit a complete application including a transcript, letter of recommendation, and an advisor's form before your application will be considered.
