Description: If you're looking to experience the rich culture of an Irish town located within easy commutable distance to Dublin, the National University of Ireland, Maynooth (NUIM), may be the place for you. NUI Maynooth is one of Ireland's leading and fastest-growing institutions of higher education, tracing its origins to the founding of St. Patrick's College in 1795.

From its foundation, NUIM has had a tradition of international education and the University continues to provide outstanding support and opportunities for visiting students. Today, NIUM's academic strengths span across its faculties with renowned programs in science and engineering while maintaining a tradition of excellence in the humanities.

Courses may be selected among various departments. You can expect to earn the following semester hours of credit:
    * Fall and spring semester: 15 credits.
    * Academic year: 30 credits.

Highlights: NUI Maynooth has extensive course offerings in its three faculties: the Faculty of Art, Celtic Studies, and Philosophy; the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and can accommodate students from a wide range of majors. Students may chose courses from among the NUIM offerings. The course credit offered by each department may vary, so students can expect to enroll in as little as 5 or as many as 8 courses for a full course load, earning 15 semester hours of credit.

Scholarships are Available. Scholarships and Financial Aid are a major part of our commitment to access for all students. Arcadia offers more than 1.5 million dollars in scholarships annually in amounts from 500 USD to 2,000 USD. A financial aid coordinator is also on-staff to provide help to students who require individual consortium agreements or need Arcadia to process federal financial aid for them.
