Independent Homestay

Description:
Greenheart Travel's Independent Homestay Program focuses exclusively on the short-term homestay experience. Participants gain special insight into the host country's society through experiencing daily life, customs, and values. Welcoming volunteer host families provide room and board and friendship for 1 - 4 weeks. Participants will be received as a member of the family and will be involved in the daily activities of that family. Participants will also have opportunities to go off and explore the host community independently.
Highlights:
Complete cultural immersion through the homestay experience. Great opportunity to practice conversational skills!
Degree Level: Bachelors Degree (Undergraduate)
Cost in US$: 1,000 - 1,500 USD
Cost Include Description:
Room and board with host family, support of local rep and Greenheart Travel National Office, medical insurance.
