It is a College where history continues to be made, theories tested and life lived. Trinity College, the single constituent college of the University of Dublin, was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592. It is the oldest university in Ireland (and one of the older universities of Western Europe) and it maintains a campus extending over 47 acres in a unique site in the heart of Dublin. Study at Trinity College and you will feel the history around you - no only in the buildings but also in the manor of teaching and studying - the Tutorial system of Trinity keeps the traditional learning style intact.
