If you want to study in the very heart of one of Europe's most cosmopolitan and elegant cities, the Arcadia program in Barcelona may be just the place. Academic Program: The core of each students academic program is the course Catalan Labyrinth: An Introduction to Catalan Studies. This course will provide a Catalan language introduction to ensure that students can navigate confidently throughout this recently nominated Capital of the Mediterranean Union, while introducing them to the compelling culture, history, economy, and politics of Catalonia. Participants will engage in lectures, seminars, and field studies that highlight the dynamic nature of the region and its people. Credits and Grades: Fall and spring semester: 15-18 credits Admission Requirements: GPA Requirements: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. You must be in good academic standing and not on disciplinary probation. You need to submit a complete application including a transcript, letter of recommendation, and an advisor's form before your application will be considered.
