Highlights:
Whether you're a person who enjoys small-town charm or big-city excitement, Franklin College can offer the best of both worlds. From bowling and putt-putting in Franklin, to paddle-boating on the canal and dining in downtown Indianapolis, students at Franklin College are never too far away from a fun time on the town. About 20 minutes north of Franklin College is Indiana's bustling capital, Indianapolis. Indy provides students with scenic parks and gardens, museums, theaters, a zoo, comedy and dance clubs, lots of shopping, and many other possibilities for an afternoon or weekend getaway. The town of Franklin also offers big-time fun that wont empty your wallet. Just a few blocks from campus, students have the opportunity to enjoy the Artcraft Theatre, an old-fashioned cinema featuring oldie-but-goodie films and even live performances. There is also a roller-skating rink and bowling alley mere minutes away from campus, as are many diners and gift shops. Popular chain restaurants and Wal-Mart are also conveniently close.
