This course aims to:
-Understand Cultural types those are essential to facilitate the communication with Arabic native speakers
-Understand short and simple dialogues of greetings, apology, self introducing
-Understand simple questions about daily life- situations, such as asking about names, addresses, phone numbers, selling and buying
-Expressing special needs of daily life
-Pronouncing the Arabic sounds

The course is held at the largest private university in Egypt.

Highlights: It contains 14 lessons, each lesson includes: Dialogues, mini dialogues, Grammar notes, vocabularies, and drills.

Teaching methods: Lecture has different teaching methods that lead to interactive and self learning, such as work group, listening approach, daily life- language situations. The Lectures focus on the communicative approach.

Learning tools:
-Drills: to assess the participant learning abilities.
-Group discussions: to assess the participant communicative abilities.
-Final Exam: will be set by the end of the course to asses student learning acquisition.
