Description: No matter if you're a beginner, intermediate, or fluent Spanish speaker, studying in Argentina is sure to take your language skills to the next level. By studying through ELI, you will be enrolled in classes at one of Buenos Aires premier Universities - Universidad de Belgrano where you will take classes in English or Spanish depending on your language ability. Classes in English include continued Spanish language courses as well as Business, Latin American History, and Political Science. In most cases these classes can be used as credit hours towards your degree at your home university. For experienced Spanish speakers, you can enroll in any class offered by the University. Students wanting to take classes taught in Spanish must take a placement test upon arrival.

ELI will provide you with the support needed prior to your departure, while your abroad, and once you return home. We will make sure you have all of the tools necessary to make your study abroad experience as seamless as possible.

Once you arrive in Buenos Aires you will participate in an in-depth orientation that will cover everything you need to know to get acquainted with you new home city, school, and the culture. Universidad de Belgrano is one of Argentina's finest Universities that has a large international student population.

Throughout the program weekly activities such as tango lessons, concerts, museum visits, and cooking classes will be provided to enrich your cultural experience. You will also be assigned a local student as a language partner. There are also many service learning and volunteer projects you can participate in throughout the semester.
