Its "Hispanic Studies Program" is a semester/academic year long program which includes Spanish language courses at all levels and a number of classes in English in business and economics as well as in biology and Spanish history, art history, and culture. Classes in Spanish include art history, economics, history, literature, political science, and social work. There is also the "University Integration Program (PIU)" for students with advanced Spanish language skills. Classes are with Spanish students and include such areas as the humanities, business, social work and labor relations. Access to computer labs, sports activities, Spanish intercambios and several cultural/social activities are included in the program fee.
Highlights:
Pablo de Olavide University is a young vibrant university located on an American-style campus a short bus ride away from Seville's city center. The campus contains a modern library, a dining hall, a cafe, a bookstore, shops, computer and science laboratories, a gym, a running track and other sports facilities. Classes are small and dynamic. As the University is small but growing rapidly, the student participating in this Program will have ample opportunity to interact with Spanish university students especially through Spanish/English "intercambios" and other activities organized on campus.
